It is one of many clips that showGod of War: Ragnarokplayers taking down bosses quickly and brutally throughout the game.
Late last year,God of War: Ragnarokwas released for the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation 5. A sequel to the 2018God of War, the game was well-received by critics and currently holds a 94 rating on Metacritic. While its total sales numbers are currently unknown,God of War: Ragnaroksmashed the PlayStation sales recordby moving over 5.1 million copies in its first week, beating outThe Last of Us Part 2’s by over a million units. With the game’s large audience, it makes sense that fans are finding more efficient ways to take down some of its bosses.

Throughout the game, players will encounter several optional bosses that players have found new ways to efficiently dispose of. OneGod of War: Ragnarokplayer took out a Berserker boss in 20 seconds, and now another has taken that efficiently to The Hateful. In a recent post Reddit user SmvRGOW took down one of The Hateful without losing any health. Through a combination of Kratos' various weapons, the player was able to keep the enemy in the air while attacking it until its health ran out.
God of War: Ragnarokis full of memorable side queststhat are sometimes more interesting than the main story. The Hateful quest spans the majority of the game and focuses on fighting several fire-based Draugr who all have their own reasons for not wanting to stay dead. The quests themselves provide the player with more resources and upgrades that will help Kratos battle the main and optional enemies throughout the game.
As of this writing, the future of the franchise is unknown. Late last year it was revealed that aGod of WarTV series was in development for Amazon Prime. However, it’s not entirely clear if Sony has any plans for a follow-up toGod of War: Ragnarokin the form of a direct sequel or DLC. As long as the game continues to sell well, it’s likely that Sony won’t let the franchise die and players will continue to find new, over-the-top ways to quickly dispose of enemy bosses.
