As pointed out by TikTok channel hiddengamingdetails,Skyrimactually lets players boil water if they shoot it long enough with a fire spell. It’s a small detail and doesn’t really have any profound impact on gameplay, but it does show how much thought Bethesda put into crafting the game. Anyone interested in trying it out for themselves should be able to do so rather easily as they should already have a fire spell handy in theirDestruction magic.

Besides usingSkyrimfire spells to boil water, fans can also obviously use them in combat. As far as other environmental interactions go, fire spells can also light oil on fire, which in turn can be used advantageously in combat encounters throughoutSkyrim’s open world.

After all, there’s not really any good reason forSkyrimplayersto waste their magic by shooting fire spells at water, and so there’s a good chance most players have never bothered to do this in the game.
