Summary
Bethesda has released update 1.7.36 forStarfieldthat players can download right now across PC and Xbox Series X. Bethesda has released multiple updates forStarfieldsince the open world sci-fi RPG launched in September, with the previous one coming at the end of last month.
ThepreviousStarfieldupdatemainly looked to fix some of the lingering bugs that have been plaguing the open world game. It also patched up a popular exploit that fans had been using to get rich quick. NowStarfieldfans have yet another update to download, with this latest patch bringing the game to version 1.7.36.

Starfieldupdate 1.7.36 isn’t quite as big as the previous update, but it still makes important improvements to the game. The main new feature in this update is the addition of Field-of-View Sliders in the Settings menu that players can use to customize their FOV in both first-person and third-person. Additionally, the newStarfieldupdate improves stability for Intel Arc GPUs, makes various other stability and performance improvements, and fixes a bug in theEchoes of the Past questthat hindered player progression.
Upon downloading the new update,Starfieldshould be an even more polished experience. While the game still has its fair share of bugs that need squashed,Starfieldstarted off in a better statethan most Bethesda games do at the time of their launch, and it should only get better from here.
Besides regular bug-fixing and performance updates, fans can expect Bethesda to add substantial new content toStarfieldat some point down the line. While Bethesda has yet to reveal the specific release plans for the DLC, it has confirmed theShattered Space expansionfor the game. Shattered Space will beStarfield’s first major expansion, with at least one more in the works for the game.
Bethesda has said that itplans on supportingStarfieldlong-term, and so it seems reasonable that even more expansions could be released for the game beyond the two that have already been confirmed. In the meantime, fans can expect plenty moreStarfieldupdates as Bethesda continues to improve the open world sci-fi RPG based on fan feedback.
