How to Increase Lumina’s Affection
If players want to increase their Affection level with Lumina, they must talk to her andbring her gifts. If they do this daily, Lumina will gradually have more hearts added next to her name. The more hearts, the higher her Affection level is.
Lumina has an active schedule that she maintains every day, which starts at 7:30 AM. She spends her mornings hanging out at the Villa playing her piano. Players cannot give her a gift while she is at the piano. She practices until around 12:00 PM, and then makes her way to the Twins' yard, where she hangs out until 4:00 PM.
Lumina will wander the village paths until she returns to spend the evening with Romana at 7:00 PM. Players can talk to her inside Romana’s bedroom before she goes to her room at 8:00 PM.
Lumina’s Favorite Gifts
All the residents have gift preferences, and won’t accept anything they don’t like. Lumina enjoys colorful things and sweets, so players can easily get her favorite items. Lumina will accept the following as gifts:

Flowers grow naturally throughout the village all year long, so they are the easiest to get. Players can also get Eggs if they have hens or ducks on their farm.
Desserts can be made inside the farmhouse kitchen after players increase their cooking skills and learn recipes. Strawberries are harder to get, since players can only get them from crops. Strawberries grow during Fall, Winter, and Spring. Strawberry desserts, in particular, are Lumina’s favorite gift to receive.
Festivals
There isone festival per seasoneach year in Forgotten Valley. Players can attend them by themselves, or with one of the residents as a date. The two main festivals players should attend if trying to romance Lumina are theSummer Fireworks Festivaland theWinter Starlight Concert.
The Fireworks Festival is on Summer 2. The Twins will invite players and ask if they want to ask anyone on a date when it starts if they go inside their farmhouse that evening after 6:00 PM.
The Starlight Concert gives players another chance to ask Lumina on a date.Gustafa hosts it, but Gavin from the Bluebird Cafe will invite them and ask if they want to take a date. At the concert’s end, there is a shooting star, and players get a chance to make a wish. If she is the player’s date, one of the wish options will be to get closer to Lumina.
All Lumina Heart Events
There are multiple cutscenes players will get to view with Lumina as theyincrease her Affection level. They all signify she is getting closer, and players can feel confident proposing to her if they see her last one.

How to Marry Lumina
Players mustget married and have a childby the end of Year One, but they’ll have the entire year to romance Lumina. There are two ways they can move forward with a proposal.
The first is forced upon them by Takakura on Winter 10 when they sleep. He will ask them if there is anyone they want to marry, and as long as they have enough hearts, Lumina will be one of the options.
Players can also get engaged to Lumina before the end of the year. To propose, they willneed a Blue Feather. Blue Feathers are rare in Forgotten Valley, but players will get one from the Nature Sprites for free. Players can give her the Blue Feather if Lumina has eight or more hearts, triggering a proposal scene.
The wedding takes place on the last day of Winter in Year One. Players will get to choose the gender of their future child who will be with them in Year Two. Lumina will also move in, and the house will be upgraded.
