TheSummer 2024 anime lineupis now underway. As always, the season includes over 40 shows, covering both newcomers and notable sequels. While not as stacked as its immediate predecessor, Summer 2024 has a few big names like[Oshi no Ko],Tower of God,Fairy Tail,Monogatari, andSuicide Squad Isekai.
If someone would like to watch every 2024 Summer anime, they will need to pick up a bunch of streaming service subscriptions; even then, they will almost certainly miss out on a few shows that will not be available on North American platforms. To simplify the process as much as possible, here are all theSummer anime 2024 lineupsfor Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, Hulu, and a few other names.

The following information is accurate as of July 155, 2024, and focuses solely on North America. Moving forward, the data will be updated as necessary.
Crunchyroll Summer 2024 Anime Lineup
My Hero Academia, Tower Of God, Monogatari, & More
Crunchyroll has announced its Summer 2024 anime, with more than 30 shows confirmed to be streaming on the service. Along with Spring 2024 continuations such asMy Hero AcademiaandThat Time I Was Reincarnated as a Slime,Crunchyroll’s Summer 2024 anime lineupcontainsMonogatari Series: Off & Monster Season,Senpai is an Otokonoko,Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian,Mayonaka Punch, andNieR:Automata Ver1.1a Part 2. So far, the selection has quite a bit of variety, despite leaning quite a bit into romance territory.
Overall, Summer 2024 is probably not as exciting as its predecessor, but the season nevertheless has its share of fun shows, many of which can be viewed with a Crunchyroll subscription. Variety is also the spice of life in this case. For instance, romance fans can check outAlya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian,Days with My Stepsister, andLove Is Indivisible by Twins. Meanwhile, the isekai theme is covered by series likeA Journey Through Another World: Raising Kids While Adventuring,No Longer Allowed in Another World,Quality Assurance in Another World, andThe Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord’s Army was a Human.
Crunchyroll even has its share of comedies thanks toVTuber Legend: How I Went Viral after Forgetting to Turn Off My Stream,My Deer Friend Nokotan, andMayonaka Punch. HIDIVE Summer 2024 Anime Lineup
[Oshi no Ko], Dungeon People, & More
HIDIVE cannot compete with Crunchyroll in terms of quantity, so quality is the only way to go. Unquestionably the biggest show of Summer 2024,[Oshi no Ko] Season 2is a HIDIVE exclusive, just like its predecessor. The first season was both popular and highly regarded, and the follow-up should be similarly successful. The sequel finds Aqua working on a theater production with a few familiar faces, an endeavor he hopes to use to get closer to a director who knew Ai.
Moving away from that series,HIDIVE’s Summer 2024 anime lineupfeatures a few more confirmed series, nearly all of which focus on fantasy.Plus-Sized Elfis the definition of an acquired taste, and it continues HIDIVE’s recent trend of picking up ecchi series that lean very heavily into fanservice. Nothing wrong with that at all, but viewers should be aware that they are diving into an anime with quite a bit of risqué content.Dungeon Peopleoffers a fun twist on the fantasy genre by taking a behind-the-scenes look at dungeon management.I Parry Everythingis surprisingly hilarious so far since it involves an overpowered protagonist who is unaware they are overpowered, and2.5 Dimensional Seductionhas a mix of humor and fanservice.

Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Netflix, & Max Summer 2024 Anime Lineup (& Maybe Other Platforms)
While general streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, and Max do not prioritize seasonal shows, they occasionally have a couple of exclusives. Hulu and Max will be showingSuicide Squad Isekai, arguably the strangest series of Summer 2024. The available episodes are quite entertaining, offering smooth splashes of action and fun takes on popular DC characters like Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and the Joker. Hulu also has three Spring 2024 leftovers, withMy Hero Academiabeing the most popular. While a step down from its predecessor, season 7 has been a fun ride and is currently in a divided war.
Netflix has things set for an exciting August 2024, withKengan Ashura Season 2 Part 2andKimi ni Todoke: From Me to You Season 3supposedly dropping during this period. The former has been constantly awesome, while the latter has been coming for more than a decade.Kinnikuman: Perfect Origin Arcis also streaming on Netflix, and it should be a fun watch for people craving an over-the-top sports shonen anime that focuses on galactic wrestling.
