Summoned with the Fuzzy Carrot item, the Bunny mount is an adorable addition to the game. It has top speeds of40mphand is an excellent early-game mount for those looking to bounce from place to place.
At least when getting around short distances at ground level, the bunny can be useful. Not only are higher jumps granted, but fall damage is also wiped out, yielding greater, less dangerous mobility. This fuzzy mount is awarded to players once they have completedfive of the Angler’s fishing quests.

10 - Walking, 31 - Flying
The Bee mount is one of the best early mounts for Pre-Hardmode. Players can get the Honeyed Goggles fromfighting the Queen Bee, located in hives within Jungle biomes. It has a5% drop rate,so players may need to kill her several times before it drops. Fall damage is canceled with this humble bee even when walking.
The Bee mount can be paired with the Cloud in a Bottle item to getextra flight time and feel as though they are wearing wings! Be careful when around liquid though, as being in contact with it brings a quick dismount.

While it may seem about as harmless as any item in the game, the Master Mode offering of the Book is among the most useful mounts inTerraria. At least, this is the case when it comes to getting aroundthese vast and lush biomes.

The Slimy Saddle sounds rather disgusting but it’s crucial for summoning this amusing mount. The item is loosed at a25% drop ratebythe King Slime, the boss of the Slime Rain event, and is needed to summon the Slime mount.
The classicTerrariaSlime mount can float and jump quite high! This tamed bouncy ball will also damage any enemies that players hit.

ThisHardmodemount is especially unique in that it’s actually a summoning item which transforms the playerintothe mount, rather than simply having them ride one. Specifically, this magical piece of jewelry turns them into a swift wolf. Regarding the connection to Lilith and the wolf — this daughter of Redigit and Cenx was apparently quite fond of the animal; hence the jewel turning players into a wolf.
Running around as a wolf can be exhilarating, and very handy when traversing the endless 2D lands. That’s because players will be small (being only three tiles compared to, say, the Unicorn mount, which is five tiles tall) and quite agile.
Journey Mode characters will obtain this item automatically, provided they name themselves"Wolfpet" or “Wolf Pet”.Otherwise, the magic necklace can be obtained by slaying wolves. Specifically, they have only a4% chanceto drop the necklace, so players should prepare to go hunting for awhile.

Christmas can be all year round with this festive mount! Rudolph, summonable with the Reindeer Bells, is obtained from the Frost Moon event. It is a rare drop from the Ice Queen, one of the mini-bosses that spawn.
This iconic reindeer cancels any fall damage when mounted and has fast acceleration and flight (61), allowing players to zoom across the skies in no time!

The Witch’s Broom is perfect for Halloween fans! It is dropped by the Mourning Wood during the Pumpkin Moon event It canfly infinitelyand has a smaller hitbox, allowing players to squeeze their way through smaller spaces without dismounting. It boasts a particularly fast diagonal speed of62.It’s not infallible, however, as it can’t descend through certain platorms featured.

Scutlix is the perfect mount for any sci-fi fans out there. It is summonable with theBrain Scrambleritem, dropped by a Scutlix Gunner with a 1% chance. Scutlix Gunners appear during the Hardmode Martian Madness invasion event, which is triggered by players being detected by an Alien probe in the Space layer of their world.
The Scutlix mount automaticallyfires lasersat enemies and has impressively swift movement speeds.
