The Aftermath of War
Heading Back Into Peaceful Times
With things going back to normal for the most part, Rimuru asks about his absent underlings, like Hakuro, who went to clean up Clayman’s castle with the Orc Lord Geld and loot anything of value, while Gabiru went back to the battlefield to help the Beastketeers in leading some of the Eurazanian refugees and the war prisoners back to various locations.
Those with places to return to were sent back, while those who wanted to learn about Tempest’s technology wereLycanthropes and Daemons (Majin)who would be taken to Tempest. Suphia and Albis thank Rimuru for accepting their people into Tempest. Gabiru brings back a letter from Milim about a super important favour she wants from Rimuru the next time she visits: she wants to bring a few attendants that she wants him to teach a thing or two about cooking.

Apparently, the Dragon Faithful are very modest and free-thinking people who do not cook or prepare any of the food they give to Milim, but because she’s so understanding, they have no idea that raw food probably isn’t to her liking. Rimuru spends most of the episode talking his subordinates through some of the problems they’re encountering as they try to do their part to restore Tempest to its pre-war conditions and find a way to accommodate refugees and war prisoners. Geld comes back to town looking absolutely defeated because of communication breakdowns between himself and the beastmen refugees and majin prisoners, so Rimuru invites him for a drink to blow off steam.
The State of The Kingdom of Falmuth
The Protection of Edamaris
Diablo presents Rimuru with the first payment from Falmuth, more specifically, 1500 stellar gold coins paiddirectly from Edamaris’s personal savings. With no knights to maintain order within the royal family, his payment is to avoid having the other nobles try to steal everything from him, a condition that Diablo believes will most certainly lead to war.
The other nobles do not want to accept paying reparations to Tempest, and will surely make Edamaris, who is now a viscount exiled to a territory in the Nidol Migam Domain bear the responsibility, as they’ve forced him to take the remaining 8500 stellar gold coins out as a loan.

Nidol is a region just beyond the mountains of Tempest in which Youm’s party has established its headquarters. Youm’s presence acts as a pin keeping the new king in check should he try to abandon Edamaris or act dishonestly. Rimuru sends Diablo back to Falmuth with an advance squad to keep tabs on the developments and minimize the impact of the budding civil conflict on the average citizen. Diablo also mentions that the Western Holy Church has sent a summons to Reyheim, and he thinks it may be a good idea to send him over to explain the situation.
A New Diplomatic Relationship Is Established
Rigurd informs Rimuru that no other nations have made any moves since Rimuru became a Demon Lord. However, Empress Elmesia El Ru Thalion of the Sorcerous Dynasty of Thalion has declared her intent to establish diplomatic relations with Tempest, which means that it’s finally time for them to work on building a road joining the two nations as soon as possible. According to Fuze, several nations are concerned about this development. There’s one issue with the road’s development that Souei brings to Rimuru’s attention, which is the Jura Tempest Federation’s shared border with the Kusha Mountains the peak of which is supposedly the location of a secret village where a warlike but mild-mannered people called the Tengu are said to reside.
Even the former Demon Lord Freyhas avoided conflict with them. Benimaru offers to go over to assess the situation in Rimuru’s place to avoid agitating the residents. Later, Hakurou returns from his mission to tell Rimuru about the Puppet Nation of Distave, which consists only of the dark elves who have pledged loyalty to Clayman looking after the castle. They claim that Distave is built upon the ruins of an ancient elven kingdom, and believe themselves to be gravekeepers. Rimuru asks Hakurou to keep this information secret because he wants to go over there to check it out at some point.

The Festival
Tempest to The World
Later, Rimuru announces to his subordinates that he has achieved Demon Lord Status, and lays claim to the entire Great Forest of Jura, including the area across the river. Technically, the part of the forest that recognizes Rimuru as leader is only the part built by the Dryads, who have no influence across the river. Rimuru’s declaration will change the status quo in the area, as those newly under his domain will have to ask for his permission to continue living there. Gabiru’s father and a group of Lizardmen will be coming to have an audience with Rimuru, which gives him the idea to host a festival to showcase Tempest to the various clans living in the Great Forest, so the next episode will probably be a whole lot of fun.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime
Based on Fuse’s novel and light novel series, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is an isekai anime that follows Rimuru, a guy who reincarnates in a fantasy world as its weakest monster. However, that soon changes.
