Tom Clancy’s The Division 2is closing the door on the fourth year of its seasonal content cycle with the launch of Season 11. Titled Reign of Fire, this season will see players take on a new squad of Black Tusk who are trying to bring The Division down, farm new gear pieces, seek out an infamous exotic armor from the firstDivisiontitle, and much more. While the update isn’t as massive as most players were expecting, Season 11 ofThe Division 2is nonetheless crucial for both the storyline and the actual longevity of the game.
Released in 2019,Tom Clancy’s The Division 2wasn’t as popular as its predecessor but did garner a dedicated fan following, which prompted Ubisoft to support the game with a full-scale expansion and 10 seasons of additional content. After the launch of Warlords of New York expansion,The Division 2switched to a seasonal model, opting for a 3-4 month window where players would face off against new storyline targets, farm new gear pieces, and even engage in new endgame PvE activities. Season 11’s arrival is quite timely, asThe Division 2was finally released on Steamon June 20, 2025, due to Ubisoft’s exclusivity deal with Epic Games coming to an end.

Originally slated for release on February 7,The Division 2’s Season 11 was plagued by delaysand game-breaking issues during development. But now that those issues have been resolved and the update is finally live, players can experience what Reign of Fire is bringing to the streets of Washington D.C. In Season 11, players will face off against five Manhunt targets, starting with Charles “Chunks” Crawford. The season’s primary Manhunt target Zachary “Stovepipe” Beattie will be available after all four secondary Manhunt targets have been dealt with.
In a true looter-shooter fashion,The Division 2’s Season 11 has arrived with new gear sets, brand sets, legendary weapons, exotic gear, and much more. Players will be excited to know that Raid-exclusive exotic weapons will now drop inThe Division 2’s infamous Dark Zones. Speaking of exotics, the NinjaBike Messenger Bag is making a return fromThe Division 1, and will retain its functionality from the prequel. The patch notes detail a few changes coming to existing exotic and legendary gear, as well as elaborate on the perks and talents of the new weapons and armor. Season 11’s new weapons and armor pieces are focused on the Marksman Rifle archetype and rely on players landing headshots for activating all the talents and perks.
