Players ofThe Planet Crafterget access to a variety of minerals. Some of them are so common that they sit on the surface in every corner of the map, but others are hidden away in caves and hard-to-reach biomes. But easily the hardest mineral to find is pulsar quartz.
Pulsar quartz is such a late-game material that players who find some early might not even realize just how valuable it is. However, it’s essential for two of the most important late-game machines inThe Planet Crafter, and it’s part of a late-game item blueprint that can unlock two new areas. That’s why it’s important for players to know how to get their hands on this purple mineral.

Where to Find Pulsar Quartz
Pulsar quartz is mostly found in underground caves and tunnels, and often these caves are full ofother rare minerals like osmiumand zeolite.
There are also ways to get pulsar quartz randomly once the Terraformation Index is high enough.

How to Make Pulsar Quartz
Much like super alloy, playerscan eventually craft pulsar quartzout of other minerals. The blueprint unlocks at 175 GTi, making it one of the last blueprints currently in the game. To make pulsar quartz, players need one each of iridium, uranium, osmium, zeolite, and methane. Also, while every other mineral blueprint uses the Advanced Craft Station, pulsar quartz must be crafted in the Biolab.
Why to Collect Pulsar Quartz
Currently, there are three blueprints inThe Planet Crafterthat call for pulsar quartz.
At least for now, pulsar quartz is the only mineral that can’t be mined. Fortunately, though, players who keep their eyes open will find more than enough of this rare material to power their late-game machinery.

The Planet Crafteris available now in early access on PC.
