In the midst of organizing the duplicate cards, the streamer leaned off-camera for a moment before returning to stream with their hair on fire.
BecauseTwitchstreamers are often faced with bad luck while streaming, there’s a community online that circulates various livestream fails. Reddit user Corey_Ryan recently shared a Twitch clip of a streamer known as Woofy who was stricken by misfortune as she began searching for something off-camera. Within seconds of leaning to her left to acquire a penny sleeve for herPokemoncards, Woofy’s curly hair had caught fire and her live viewers were powerless to help them.

As Woofy was leaning away as her hair caught fire, the Twitch streamer didn’t realize just how bad it was until she was on-camera again. Woofy didn’t immediately recognize what was happening as she smelt the burning hair in the air, she began patting her head slowly before reaching the part of her head that was burning. “Oh my god!' said Woofy multiple times as she patted the flames away with her hand and herTwitch viewersreacted.
Although Woofy’s Twitch viewers likely joined her channel during this recent livestream to observe the various JapanesePokemoncards, they were quick to notify Woofy that her hair was on fire. After several exclaimed reactions, one viewer simply put theshocked Pikachu memeemote in chat to express just how worried they were on Woofy’s behalf. Woofy was just as shocked by the flames as her jaw dropped while the flames dispersed and hair residue stuck to her gloved hand.
“I stink!” Woofy cried as she resituated herself for her Twitch viewers who were anticipating the protection of her duplicateJapanesePokemoncards. Although Woofy was trying to preserve herPokemoncards and was delicately touching them with a gloved hand, some viewers cautioned her about opening cards near a flame. It’s likely that after this Twitch stream, Woofy will also take more efforts to protect her hair as she does herPokemoncards.
It’s currently unclear what was off-camera that lit Woofy’s hair on fire, but with how quickly the flames spread, it was likely a flame rather than something that sparked before igniting her hair. While one Reddit user has speculated that a flamethrower was off-camera, others more accurately assume that Woofy had hairspray in her hair and accidentally leaned too close to an open flame such as a burning candlewick. Woofy isn’t the only person who has beencaught on Twitch in the midst of a blazeas other streamers and entertainers have experienced the same problem.
