PopularTwitchstreamer and content creator xQc recently ended his time playingElden Ring,rage-quitting while live and uninstalling the game from his Steam account. TheTwitchclip showcases xQc on camera, calmly quitting his game before shutting it down and uninstalling it, much to the enjoyment of his audience.
Released one year ago,Elden Ringbecame one of the biggest games in recent memory, selling over 20 million copies worldwide andwinning four awards at the 2022 Game Awards, including Game of the Year. The game’s difficulty is one of the main reasons for the success, as players were left constantly strategizing and coming up with new ways to overcome powerful adversaries.

During a February 23 stream, xQc was indulging in someElden Ringfun as he took on coliseum battles, the game’s player versus player mode. After encountering Combatant Mel’Dahn in a fierce battle, resulting in a stalemate of three wins each, xQc returned to the Roundtable Hold to prepare for yet another battle. Unsatisfied with his draw, he engaged in several more battles but failed to string together some victories which, in turn, made xQc increasingly annoyed by the situation. KnowingxQc’s tendency to become upset and rage quit games, his audience rooted him on to continue playing, even after he left the game and returned to the main title screen.
Obliging to the mass appeal, xQc returned to action but changed things up by entering United Combat, a PVP mode that splits players up into two teams in timed battles with the ability to respawn. Unfortunately for the streamer and his teammates, xQc did not return to form and instead appeared to be one of the weaker members of his teams. Despitemany tricks being available inElden Ring’s PVP battles, the streamer couldn’t stay alive long enough to utilize them and continuously surrendered points to the opposition team. With his audience adding fuel to the fire by accusing him of feeding — a method which players intentionally die to allow the opposing team to gain points quickly — xQc calmly turned off the game, returned to Steam and uninstalled it from his computer.
After throwing several explicit words in frustration, xQc listed his reasons for losing the match, including high ping, having cavities, and eating too much Kentucky Fried Chicken. This isn’t the first time someone has rage-quit the game asElden Ringhas claimed the anger of many streamersin its year on the market, but xQc’s outburst may top the list of best explosions. Spending the next two hours watching videos and chatting with his audience, xQc’s teammates attempted to calm him down and fan the flames by telling him he did his best and that they were proud of their efforts. Maybe one day, xQc will reinstallElden Ringand return to combat again.
