In a message to the community, the developers ofPrince of Persia: The Sands of Timeremake confirmed that the game will not be at theUbisoft Forward event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, June 12 at 12:00pm PT. The developers also said that they have been making “great progress” for the game to “release next year,” seemingly confirming thatPrince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake’s release date has been pushed back to 2022 at the earliest.
On one hand,Prince of Persiafans may be disappointed that they won’t get to see the game at E3 2021 as they may have anticipated. On the other hand, fans may prefer the developers to take their time focusing on actually developing the game instead of putting together trailers for events like the Ubisoft Forward at E3. Fans should be able to expect an update once more significant progress has been made on the game.
WhilePrince of Persia: The Sands of Timeremake won’t be at the Ubisoft Forward event at E3, other Ubisoft games have been confirmed for the big show.
