On March 12th, 2022, the Il Molise bonus stage was added toVampire Survivorsthrough an update. This stage is quite different from the other stages. For starters, the player only needs to survive for 15 minutes; normally the player must survive for 30 minutes. The enemies are also very different in Il Molise. Instead of having the enemies charge the player mindlessly, the enemies in Il Molise are unmoving plants and spectral creatures.

Scattered among the enemies are pots that leave a gold coin when broken, making this the best stage for amassing large sums of gold. This stage is also the best stage for players attempting to break their previous kill-count score. Unlocking this stage isn’t complicated, but for new players, it might be challenging. Il Molise is by far the easiest of the stages inVampire Survivors, mainly due to the fact that the enemies don’t attack the player unless they get too close.
4The Specifics
Put simply, the Il Molise stage is unlocked when the player unlocksthe Hyper Mode settingfor three other stages. Unlocking the Hyper Mode setting for the three normal stages requiresdefeating the boss that appears at minute 25. This might be difficult for new players, so below is a quick guide for theGreen Acres,Inlaid Library, andDairy Plantlevels.

Try to have at least one weapon at level 4 before the five-minute mark; preferably the King Bible or Santa Water. Selecting theLaurel or Tiragisu if they’re offered is always a smart choice. Abuild guide for Green Acres is available here.
2Inlaid Library

This stage is narrow, so weapons like the Runetracer, Bone and Cherry Bomb are more effective. With these weapons, the player can alsoseek shelter in the small alcoves along the top row of bookcases. These confined alcoves cause the Runetracer, Bone, and Cherry Bomb’s projectiles to form a protective barrier - of sorts. Abuild guide for Inlaid Library is available here.
1Dairy Plant
This stage can be difficult for new players; for players wanting morehelp completing Dairy Plant, there is a build guide available. It’s easy to get cornered in this stage, so stay mobile, and make sure to level up the King Bible or Song of Mana when possible. In this stage, it’s better to have a few high-level weapons rather than six medium-to-low level weapons.
Once these three stages have their Hyper Mode unlocked the Il Molise stage should immediately become available. The Hyper Mode for Il Molise has the same requirements to unlock as the normal Il Molise stage - so they unlock simultaneously.
