Call of Duty: Warzonehas had numerous issues with vehicles ever since it was first released. Vehicles have caused various glitches inCall of Duty: Warzoneand have also been used to devastating effect by some hackers. A new glitch found by players recently caused Raven Software to disable vehicles on Rebirth Island but, thankfully, they have now returned.

In late 2021,Call of Duty: Warzonehackers began to make ground vehicles fly by using cheats. The cheat would allow players to fly up into the air, lock onto an enemy player, and then drop with the vehicle from above to kill the unsuspecting player before launching back up into the air again. Fortunately,Call of Duty: Warzone’s Ricochet anti-cheat system got rid of many cheaters making use of this hack, and it has not been an issue for quite some time now.

Vehicles were disabled inCall of Duty: Warzonethis time around because players were using them to glitch into the Golden Vaults on Rebirth Island. Normally, in order for players to gain access to the Golden Vaults and the high-level loot inside them, they would need to complete a community challenge and collect a list of in-game items. This would give players the access codes to enter a Golden Vault. However, players found a way to subvert this and enter a Golden Vault without completing any of the above-mentioned steps.

Players were able to glitch into the Golden Vaults on Rebirth Island inCall of Duty: Warzoneby getting a teammate to ram them with a vehicle while they stood in front of the door to the vault. Gamers would then clip through the wall and gain access to the vault. This glitch caused Raven Software to disable vehicles inCall of Duty: Warzonefor two days in order to fix the issue.

Thankfully, the problem has now been resolved and vehicles have been patched back into the game along with a few other fixes. The additional changes include fixes for a bug that would prevent players from inviting friends to a party from the social menu, a bug that caused the Submachine Gun Echo to not deal the right amount of damage, and an issue that caused staged loot on Rebirth Island to despawn.

In other news, a rumor is doing the rounds thatCall of Duty: Warzone 2may not be released on older consoles. This may mean that gamers who have not been able to get their hands on a next-gen console might not be able to play the next iteration of the battle royale.

Call of Duty: Warzoneis available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
