Prismari College focuses on visual and performing arts. These can be in the form of architecture, painting, sculpting, dance, theater, and music. It is very common for students to study at both Prismari College and Lorehold to combine art and history. Some may even study at Silverquill College as well, for the literary arts.
Like the other colleges inStrixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos, Prismari students' curriculums are divided between studying perfection and expression. The study of perfection focuses on technique, analysis, theory, aesthetics, and universal principles. Meanwhile, the study of expressionfocuses on personal emotional truths.

6Founder
Galazeth Prismariis the founding dragon of Prismari College. While dragons inD&Dcan often be depicted as carrying about their hordes, Galazeth had other motives for founding the college. He did not want magic to be limited to being used purely for practicality. Instead, his magic emphasizes dynamic expression and precise perfection.

Galazeth has the unique ability to breathe both fire and ice at the same time. This means any creature that fails their dexterity save will take 38 (7d10) fire damage and 38 (7d10) cold damage from him. Another interesting and powerful ability is his Lightning Flash, which deals 11 (2d10) lightning damage. Flowing Creation also grants the dragon the ability to summon 1d4 art elemental mascots, that obey his command.
5Campus Grounds
Prismari campus is in a region of jagged rocks and rugged spires. The area is also affected by intense geothermal activity. Players looking for inspiration may visitConjurot Hall’s glass observation area, and take in the view. Students may even see their own works joining the work of artists of the past along the Opus Walk. The Opus Walk features hundreds of works of art, all from previous students.
While Prismari may seem relatively tame inDungeons & Dragonsterms, adventurous players may attempt to explore the campus outskirts. These areas are full of failed magical projects and experiments.

4Faculty
A majority of the notable instructors at Prismari College are genasi, due in part to their strong connection to the elements. However, all of theinstructors are also powerful spellcasters, each carrying numerous accomplishments in the field.
Uvilda Mistcoiler is the current Dean of Perfection. She trains with a wide range of elements and offers students personalized feedback. Uvilda believes art should be carefully crafted and deliberate, to become fully realized.
