In aninterview with Warcraft Wiki during BlizzCon,World of Warcraftassociate game director Morgan Day confirmed there would be no Patch 10.3. This means Guardians of the Dream is the final major content update beforeThe War Withinreleases in 2024, and that Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope, is the last new raid players can expect. That said,Dragonflightis not over yet, and Day assured players the expansion still has more story to tell and activities to complete.
Fans are understandably upset thatPatch 10.2 is the final big patch inDragonflight. The expansion has been fun, and many players feel like the story is only just now getting started.World of Warcraftseems to be setting a two-patch precedent for expansions going forward, which has some players worried about content droughts.
