From Hall of Famers to current champions,WWE2K23showcases some of the best wrestling teams to ever grace the fabled squared circle. Which factions reign supreme in 2K’s wrestling game?

11New World Order (84)

During the famous “WCW Invasion” angle in the early 2000s, Vince McMahon set out to destroy the company his family had built by injecting a “poison” into the roster. This would come in the form of the New World Order, or nWo, consisting of Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall.

The impact of the nWo may not have been what the fans hoped for when they arrived in WWE in 2002, but their antics in WCW prior to its buy-outshould warrant a higher rating inWWE 2K23as they cemented the legend status of the troupe’s core members.

10Damage Control (84)

Under the tutelage of a multiple-time Women’s Champion, Bayley, Dakota Kai, and Iyo Sky have made waves since their main roster debut atSummerSlamof 2022. Since then, the trio has caused problems for the likes of Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Bianca Belair, which has resulted in countless memorable matches and moments.

Despite losing their tag titles prior toWrestleMania 39to Lita and Becky Lynch, Damage Control still maintain their status asthe most dominant female group on the roster today.

9The Bloodline (84)

Perhaps the biggest surprise of the team ratings is the Bloodline, who have established themselves as one of the most dominant factions in WWE history. With the longest-reigning tag team champions, the Usos, above the Bloodline on the list, it is a wonder why the inclusion ofthe highest-rated superstar in WWE gaming history, Roman Reigns, would hurt the team’s value.

WrestleMania 39will serve as the Bloodline’s greatest loyalty test; however, regardless of the outcome, the faction has been the headline act in WWE for some time. They have earned their place among wrestling’s elite cooperatives.

8The Outsiders (87)

The Outsiders were the foundation upon which the legendary faction nWo would build their legacy. Kevin Nash and Scott Hall arrived in WCW after a stint in the WWE and leaned on their role as the newest villains in town, with many still associating them with their former employers.

Hall and Nash showed a venomous intent in their matches, combining relentless offense and power with some under-handed tactics as they famously did whatever it took to get the victory. With the arrival of Hulk Hogan to the mix, the Outsiders would evolve into a group worthy of the Hall of Fame.

7The Judgment Day (87)

In a cruel twist of fate, the team of young and hungry stars assembled by Hall of Famer Edge would quickly shed the weight of their leader and take control of their own destiny. Throughout 2022 and 2023, Judgment Day has proven to be a nuisance for the likes of Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles, and the faction only looks to be growing in strength.

After persuading up-and-comer Dominik Mysterio to betray his father Rey and join them, Judgment Day has continued to assert its dominance in WWE. With the recent success of Rhea Ripley, who will battle Charlotte Flair forthe SmackDown Women’s Championship atWrestleMania 39, 2023 could see Judgment Day grow stronger and spell doom for the rest of the roster.

6The Bella Twins (88)

In an episode ofSmackDownin 2008, Brie Bella would attempt to escape rivals Victoria and Natalya under the ring, but she was grabbed by the arms and legs by her adversaries. To their shock, two Bellas would surface, kick-starting the Hall of Fame career of the Bella Twins.

Theidentical twins would each go on to have successful careersas multiple-time Divas champions and one of the top attractions on the roster. Combined, the two were near unbeatable, for as long as the sisters were able to cooperate with one another.

5Hart Foundation (88)

From the depths of the Hart Dungeon, one of the greatest families in the history of professional wrestling was born. The Hart Family have produced some of the best talents of their time, headed by Canada’s prodigal son, Brett “The Hitman” Hart. The multiple-timeWWE Champion and submission specialistclaimed to be “the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be,” and few would dispute that claim.

Combining with fellow Hall of Famer and father to current superstar Natalya, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, the Hart Foundation was an ever-present staple of the WWE in the 1980s, winning the tag team titles on two occasions.

4The New Day (88)

When one combines former WWE champions with aKing of the Ringwinner, they are guaranteed to have a talented team. This is the formula for the only team to have won theSmackDown, Raw,andNXTchampionships, The New Day.

Whilst they are usually accompanied by Big E, who fans are hoping to see return in 2023 from injury, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston have been long-time fan favorites as a result of their in-ring talent, skills with the microphone, and team chemistry. Their accolades speak for themselves, and definitely warrant their high rating inWWE 2K23.

3RK-Bro (89)

It’s been some time since Randy Orton and Matt Riddle have graced the squared circle as a seemingly-unstoppable duo, but there’s no denying the star power of the unlikely pair. The chemistry between Riddle and Orton came as a fresh, fun change in tune for “The Viper.” Furthermore, fans loved seeing Orton so clearly enjoying the dynamics at play at the tail end of his career.

While it is uncertain if the audience will see RK-Bro in action again, the formerRawTag Team Champions were a formidable combination of speed, strength, and cohesion that posed a threat to whoever stood on the opposite side of the ring.

2The Usos (89)

It comes as no surprise that the longest-reigning tag team champions in WWE history be one of the highest-ranked teams inWWE 2K23. That said, the siblings probably won’t argue too much against the team that beat them to the top spot.

The Usos have captured the attention of WWE fans for several years, however, 2022 was an especially strong year for the twins thatsaw them achieve superstardomas part of the Bloodline. In the process of breaking the record for the longest tag-title reign, the Usos have been at the helm of some of the most captivating and most talked-about moments in recent memory.
