However, companies decide to have massive sales with deep discounts for events and seasonal changes throughout the year. This includes Halloween, Christmas, Black Friday, and other important dates, along with longer promotions for the various seasons.Xboxis no different, and Microsoft is hosting a huge sale to mark the Summer of 2022. Similarly,Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Originis available at a discounted rate of $41.99, 30% off its usual price. As these titles are relatively new, the discounts offered are below 50%, but older games are much cheaper.
A list compiled by Pure Xbox reveals that the Ultimate Game Sale offers discounts of up to 90%. Titles likeAgents of Mayhem,Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker,We Happy Few, andXCOM 2 Collectionare all available for 90% off on theXboxstore. All of these games will cost users less than $10.
Noteworthy games listed at a discount of 85% includeDragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen,Nickelodeon: Kart Racers, andDragon Ball FighterZ. The Xbox One version ofFIFA 22is also available at 85% off, as opposed to a 70% discount for the Xbox Series X version. Interested users should note thatFIFA 22is a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimatevia EA Play.
Despite the massive sale, it looks like some of these games can be found cheaper elsewhere. For example, the PlayStation and Xbox versions ofBattlefield 2042are listed at $19.99 on Amazon, while it costs $29.99 on the Xbox Store. The same goes forAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is available for $19.99 on Amazon as opposed to $23.99 on Microsoft’s storefront. It should be noted that the Amazon prices are for physical copies of the game, so owners of a digital-only console will have to go through the respective online stores.
