Summary
AZelda: Breath of the Wildfan has created an absurdly detailed build of Hyrule entirely out of LEGOs. The project took an immense amount of work to pull off, and fans are appreciative of the effort and showcase of how lovedBreath of the Wildis.
While some players have moved on fromBreath of the Wildin favor of its successorTears of the Kingdom,Breath of the Wildstarted the incredible open-world experience in Hyrule. Players were given total freedom to explore and advance as they saw fit, whether they wanted to spend hundreds of hoursfinding every Korok inBreath of the Wildor preferred to charge straight in and challenge Ganon from the get-go. While the game is loved for many reasons, the introduction to a massive, sprawling Hyrule has remained a memorable experience for many, and it’s an integral part to the successTears of the Kingdomfound.

That fondness for the most recent takes on Hyrule led to this incredible creation by Reddit user Linky. The fan built an impressively detailed take on theHyrule world map, and it was by no means small or limited. The player estimates the build to be about 7.5 square feet and includes nearly 15,000 LEGO pieces. They’re unsure how many hours they spent on the build, though they noted that it was completed over the course of a year.
The detail here is genuinely impressive, and fans can easily scroll through the images and find their favorite landmarks. Death Mountain, Lake Hylia, Hyrule Castle, and evenZelda’s SheikahTowers can be spotted. The overhead shot of the build strongly resembles looking at the game’s map, but the detail in the close-up shots is where it shines the most.
Paying Tribute to Zelda with LEGO Bricks
Fans in the comments have been struck by the complexity of the build and the amount of time that was put into it. FellowBreath of the Wildplayers were happy to learn that Linky plans on uploading a detailed instructions on how the piece was put together, so in theory, other fans can build their own. Some wanted the piece to become official by way of the LEGO Ideas system, but unfortunately, the build is too big to qualify.
While an official giantZeldaLEGO set may not be in the cards, the nice thing about the bricks is that fans can make just about anything with a little ingenuity and a lot of time. Given thelongevity of olderZeldatitles' popularity, chances are fans will continue to build massively time-consuming impressive works like these celebratingBreath of the WildandTears of the Kingdomin the years to come.
